From May 3 to 8, 2026, Ramūnė Motiejūnaitė, a lecturer at the Faculty of Pedagogy, visited the University of Crete as part of the Erasmus+ teaching visit program, where she delivered lectures to undergraduate and graduate students in early childhood education.
During the visit, the lecturer discussed with students the importance of movement in childhood, the use of unconventional methods in creating new movements, and the inclusion of all children in physical activity programs. The students actively participated in the lectures—sharing their experiences and opinions on inclusive physical activity in kindergartens and trying out various practical activities themselves.
The University of Crete is one of Greece’s strongest research-oriented universities. Its main campus is located in the city of Rethymno, where the faculties of humanities, social sciences, and education, as well as the library, are based.
We are pleased that our collaborative ties with the University of Crete continued to strengthen during this Erasmus+ teaching visit.
