VIKO Lecturer Dovilė Miknaitytė Shares Insights on Inclusive Education Through Art

From May 11 to 15, Dovilė Miknaitytė, a lecturer at the Faculty of Pedagogy of Vilniaus kolegija, visited WSB University in Poland, where she conducted practical workshops for international students and faculty members. The lecturer presented a highly relevant topic, “Inclusive Europe: Managing Intercultural Challenges in Education and Beyond.” During the workshops, participants analyzed how the universal language of art and creativity can help build a united and more inclusive Europe. The sessions focused primarily on music, movement, and drama as tools to understand different cultures and overcome educational challenges without language barriers. By acting, moving, and making music together, the participants learned to respect cultural differences, develop deep empathy, and explore new forms of collaboration within a united community. This visit once again confirmed that artistic expression has the power to turn complex intercultural challenges into valuable opportunities for personal growth and international friendship.
