On October 24, first-year students of the Dance Pedagogy study programme, accompanied by their lecturer Jolanta Davolytė, had a unique opportunity to observe a ballet class led by Christian Marchant, a ballet teacher from Belgium, at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (LNOBT).
Organised in collaboration with LNOBT, this educational experience offered students valuable insights into international ballet teaching practices. They had the opportunity to explore different pedagogical approaches and observe the delicate balance between ballet technique, musicality, and artistic expression.
Such professional experiences enrich the learning process, broaden students’ perspectives, encourage creativity and professional curiosity, and inspire continuous artistic development.
